First day of August + 1 foggy morning = 1 snow for this winter.
Today is going to be a very busy day for me as I have a long list of extras plus my usual Wednesday duties, some of which I'll talk about in another post.
I took time to do my exercise and take a walk this morning figuring it would prepare me for the hecticness of the day.
I baked cakes all morning in between a couple loads of laundry I hung out on the line to dry since the sun is shining and yesyterdays drearyness is history.
When baking was finished I did some housework and changed all my furniture covers.
Then it was up to the chicken plantation with a bucket of hot soapy water. This rain is causing algea to build up in all the waterers.
After that was finished I gleaned in the garden. I cut a big mess of okra,some cucmbers and decided to leave the tomatoes for a few more days.
We are still eating on the basket hubbie picked the first of the week.
We had fried okra and tomatoes for supper to go with grilled chicken breast.
I finished the day with chores, doing the weekly paperwork,bill paying, and cake icing. Whew !! It is midnight and I am just finishing. (actually I'm writing this Thursday morning at market).
Grateful to God for the energy of today and for His blessings, which sometimes go unnoticed in my hurriedness.
