HALLELUJAH !!!, HALLELUJAH !!!! SON IS HOME !!!
After a stressful day of waiting, daughter and he finally made it home just in time for her to make it to work at 5:00. I hope he realizes how special his sister has been to him during this last month.
His vascular surgeons were in surgery all morning and finally came in well after lunch to discharge him.
Hubbie met him at his house and helped him get up the steps and into the recliner, ahhhhhh!
We made a big pot of spaghetti and took it over and hubbie and I and #2 son ate supper with them. Son didn't feel like eating right then but we saved him a big plate. I hope the pasta will help his energy level.
After we left he almost passed out standing up to go to the bathroom. Before hubbie and I went to work at church we ran out to CVS and bought a couple of urinals so he doesn't have to get up in case he needs to pee while no one is around. Whew!! he definitely does not need to fall. When I took the urinal in he said he had put a little wait on his knee during his near fall and now it was hurting. This was the temperature when I left market today.
Market was good today even in the sweltering heat we are having. I so hope it rains soon, our poor garden is just wilting away.
I stopped for supplies and made a couple Avon stops on my way home this afternoon.
Avon is aggravating this time of year because everyone is on vacation and it makes deliveries hard.
I am so tired tonight I feel like I could sleep for a week. I know it is relief along with the heat of the day and it sure has been nice to walk over to son's tonight instead of driving to the hospital like I have done everyday for the last month. It's kind of ironic that his accident happened exactly 4 weeks ago this evening.
So, so thankful tonight for God's love and grace and the answered prayers for my son's health. And so thankful for all my blogging friends who have prayed and encouraged during this last month. HUGS AND KISSES FOR YOU ALL !!!!!
Good Night and God Bless.

Hi Marilyn, So glad that your son is HOME. He will feel so much better I think now that he is home. You, hubby and your daughter have done so much to help him. I hope he appreciates all three of you..
Does his wife work alot? She must since I don't hear that she is there with him alot...BUT--maybe I'm wrong... I know his son will be thrilled to have Daddy at home.
I hope he doesn't fall or hurt that leg... I'll keep him (and all of you) in my prayers. I hope you can take a day off and get some rest this weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
So glad to hear this milestone has been reached. Still a long way to go, but home is always better.
I wanted to send you an email so you would have my address. The link says, mountainnena@gmail (not mountainnana) so I wanted to make certain that is the correct one and not a typo.
This is wonderful!
