CHRISTMAS 2021

Hello again  I am late posting but I have been busy enjoying family during this holiday season. With the addition of these two more little angels this year it seems I am more caught up in family activities and enjoyment then ever before so I am having a hard time finding time to write a blog post each day. I actually have considered stopping the blog but I have been doing it for over 13 years so I hate to just walk away. I have decided that daily post at this time probably won't happen but I will recap at certain times and catch things up.

We had a wonderful Christmas season with all the little ones so excited and so much good food and good times with family.  I took all the kids downtown before Christmas and let them pick out a bag of candy from the Mast General store and a toy from the Dancing Bear toy store.  They all had a great time.

Christmas eve celebration at our house ......

Pawpaw got a new recliner !!!

Christmas day morning we made the rounds to all the houses to make sure Santa didn't forget anyone.

The weather between Christmas and New Years was unbelievably warm and sunny. We spent it catching up on outside activities .

Thankful for a wonderful Christmas season and for the family God blessed me with.
God Bless everyone.

DECEMBER 17, 18, 19 FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

 Friday December 17.........

This morning is the last regular scheduled morning for everyone until the new year. I got chores done while hubbie fed IR and CA breakfast.  I took IR to school and came straight back home to begin baking cakes. I baked another 6 caramel cakes in order to fill today and tomorrow's orders. Hubbie is picking up IR today as I need to make a 10 cake delivery to a customer at noon.   I took CA with me and her took EA with him . I went by McDonalds to get them some lunch and then made the cake delivery. Friday traffic is always terrible around here but today it was exceptionally bad and it took me an extra 20 minutes to get home and took hubbie and extra 30 minutes to get here. But thankfully we made it safely .  We all ate lunch together.  It is a beautiful day and after a half day at school RL came up to join the girls to play outside.

After all the girls left we got chores done.  I checked out my covered and uncovered winter crops and they both so far are doing well.  These uncovered rows of Kale greens and broccoli and cabbage are doing well except the broccoli and cabbage seem to be just surviving with no signs of broccoli or cabbage heads yet.
This broccoli and cabbage under this plastic is producing heavily for us.
I am enjoying fresh spinach , carrots, chard and lettuce from this covered raised bed.

The day ended with a colorful sky around an almost full moon.

Saturday  December 18.........
Today was a workday for hubbie and I as we got alot of loose ends tied up and made some cake deliveries.

Sunday December 19.............
Up to make a shepherd pie from the left over turkey from Thanksgiving.  When the kids got here we all ate lunch and the pie was very good.  After we all ate the kids tackled some Christmas cookie baking and had a blast doing it all together.

It was a wonderful way to spend a cloudy cool Sunday afternoon and the cookies were delicious.
Thankful for these kids and so very thankful for the Reason for this season, Jesus Christ.
God Bless, Good Night and Merry Christmas
