A CHRISTMAS FILLED WEEKEND

Well here I go once again jotting down memories from several past busy days.  Saturday December 11 was the first rainy day we have had in a very long time but it sure dampened our plans. Daughter and her girls and d-in-love-T and NP had planned a trip to main street to let the kids pick out some candy in Mast General store and let them take in all the store decorations as we walked up and down the street. When we got up to the street the rain seemed to get heavier . We went into Mast General and IR and CA picked out candy from their vast selection of old and new varieties. When we headed back out onto the street the rain picked up cutting our street walking out. I was very surprised to see such a large crowd of people out in the rain today.  These two didn't seem to mind the rainy weather but the babies had different ideas !!!

I had to make a cake delivery to a caterer friend who drove up from Greenville, SC so after a quick stop for a hot drink and some delicious bread from Underground Bakery I made the delivery and then met everyone here at home for lunch.   After a nice visit the girls all left and hubbie and I watched it rain for the afternoon.
On Sunday we had our regular Sunday lunch with all the family except #2 son who was golfing in the nice warm sunshine of today. I had craft time planned for the kids and they made marshmallow snowmen and hot chocolate cups.  They all had a blast doing this together. I love spending time with all these kidos.  I made samples last night for them to go by.

This was a perfect Christmas weekend filled with family and kids excited for the season.
Thankful for the blessings of these days and for the Reason for the season, Jesus Christ.
God Bless , Good Night and Merry Christmas
