DECEMBER 13th thru DECEMBER 16th

Monday was a beautiful sunny, warm day after a cold 22 degree early start.  It was a routine Monday with getting IR to pre-school and getting laundry done.  We went to the feed store for chicken feed and then spent the afternoon relaxing with the girls.

On Tuesday IR had stomach issues from  something she ate and stayed home from pre-school. Her and CA were in construction mode this morning.

Another 22 degrees at chore time created some eerie looking scenes with the frosty fog hanging low in the neighboring fields.

After chores and breakfast we loaded up all the furniture and bed covers and throw rugs and took them to the local laundry. IR and CA got to come inside and have snacks while the washers ran in an almost totally empty laundramat.
We came home and got all the laundry hung on the lines to dry in the nice warm sunny mid 60's day.
We spent the afternoon entertaining the girls and doing routine chores.

On Wednesday IR was able to go back to pre-school just in time for her Christmas program and she did great with all the motions and sang her little heart out.

The church sanctuary was big enough for the folks who came to watch the program to be able to spread out . Hubbie and I sat in the large balcony just to be safe.
After we picked IR up we stopped for donuts on the way home for a reward for her doing so good.
We came home to see how #2 son and d-in-love-T had done with CA , EA and NP here at home. Since CA is still technically under quarantine they were good enough to come to our house to take care of the 3 youngest girls.  They did fine and after we got lunch fixed for IR and CA they left to go have some lunch themselves.  We spent another warm afternoon playing inside and outside with the girls and the day ended with a beautiful sunset .

Today started out with a warmer morning, the first this week with no ice to break off the water pans. I took IR to pre-school and then came home to grab breakfast and load up in hubbie's truck for errand day.  We made stops at the PO, the dump/recycle center, Ingles , the bank, met a cake customer at market, stopped at Johnson's produce for tomatoes and a thrift store to get hubbie a pair of jeans then we picked up IR and came home.
We all had lunch and then IR and CA played outside in the upper 60's sunshine with hubbie while EA napped and put away laundry and did paperwork.

RL brought the gingerbread house she made at school in to share with her cousins this evening.
The sky was really pretty this evening as the sun went down and even when the moon rose in the white fluffy clouds.

I have been baking and icing cakes each evening and will continue that through the next several days to fill the many Christmas orders we have gotten. Daughter is also busy baking as tomorrow is the last day of school before Christmas break.
Hopefully things will slow down and I can do a better job of daily posting soon.
Thankful for all the blessings of this day and thankful that God sent His Son to live among men and become the greatest Gift of Salvation ever known.
God Bless,  Good Night and Merry Christmas

Such cute pictures of the girls at their Christmas program. Love the Nativity set in your yard.
