BRRRRRR!!!!! A chilly morning 35 ,although I don't see any frost still around at 8 am I do see some plants that looked nipped a bit.
After outside chores I started baking cakes. I had another order this morning which meant a few extra cakes to be made.
It was after lunch when I finally turned the ovens off.
#1 son and g-son were here to meet the wound care nurse. She thinks the new idea with the wound vac is working and the tunnel is getting smaller.
Just as she left a man came to buy son's ranger pick-up truck he has for sale. He is selling this to make his business payments for a few months and we are going to help him buy a cheaper, older vehicle to drive for a while.
G-son stayed with me while they went to the bank to transfer the title.
When he got back I went to work at church.
When I got home at 5:30 g-son was here with hubbie and son had gone to look at an old 1986 Bronco 11 that a friend told him about.
G-son had discovered my new Silkie chickens and couldn't believe how soft they were.
He couldn't understand why he couldn't bring them inside to play with him.
These are the sweetest little hens.
D-in-love came to pick up g-son and after moving most of my tropical plants inside ,I cut quite a bit of basil to take to market tomorrow. It is in the back of the garden and is protected by some trees from frost.
Tonight is supposed to be the coldest night so far but it actually feels warmer to me than last night did at this time.
The wind is beginning to die but hubbie has decided not to cover his tomatoes tonight.
We'll just cross our fingers again I guess!
Hubbie and I went back to church to finish cleaning.
When we got home I started icing cakes. #1 son came in and said he is going to drive the Bronco 11 tomorrow, daughter came by and picked up some more pans for her baking,
hubbie is making boxes for my order, our house is super busy tonight !!
I finished icing at 11:30 tonight so I'll have to catch up reading my blogs tomorrow,I am tired and headed for bed.
Thank you Lord for blessings that I don't deserve.
Good Night and God Bless.
