After my morning bowl of cereal topped with some fresh strawberries I found yesterday from Florida I was off on my morning walk.
I am determined to get started doing this again. I made 2 rounds around our pasture before deciding that was enough to get things started back on the walking track again. I wrapped my knee but my hips feel as if they might be sore tomorrow.
Saw nothing interesting enough to photograph or maybe ,probably just wasn't looking hard enough in the dreary,cool morning.
The temperature when I got back to the house was 45 but it feels a lot colder, maybe because of the dampness in the air.
We are expecting a very rainy weekend and the air is very moisture laden. This is the first day in a long time that the temperature is actually below normal for a change.
I iced cakes before lunch and then went to work at church after.
When I came home from church I needed a rest time so my 4-legged kids and I snuggled on the couch to watch the news and nap off and on.
Hubbie grilled us a hamburger on our George Foreman and we had steamed broccoli to go with it for supper.
We headed back to church to finish work after we ate.
The cross is finished to go into the woodwork they put up last week end and they are supposed to put it up tomorrow.
It looks very good.

Finished wrapping and labeling all mine and daughter's baked goods tonight. I traded out with her, she went to buy our gift for a baby shower tomorrow for a girl at church and I wrapped and labeled all her breads.
A warm bed sounds very inviting to me tonight,I think this week has caught up with me.
I'm so hoping next week I can get back into a routine without dentist and doctor appointments.
My goal for next week is to finish our taxes.
God is good all the time, all the time God is good !

Hi Marilyn, We got our taxes filed and got a nice refund. I like it when that happens.
We have had TONS of wind here the past couple of days. BUT--it hasn't been cold like it was at your house. We've stayed in the 50's/60's most of the week.
Today we are getting rain along with the wind.. Tomorrow it turns cold here at least for one night...
