Got an early start when #1 son called to make sure no one was headed out I-26 this morning either way as there were tractor trailer accidents in both directions which had shut the road down. He had gotten called out out 5am to shut the west bound lanes down while one of the wrecks was cleaned up.
G-son and Caitlyn and Brice all got here about 7:10 am to get the day started.
Everyone was really calm for awhile with their technology gadgets.
It didn't take long for them to get at ease with one another then the fun began. They played in g-son's playroom with things he hasn't touched in a long time and with all the laughing coming from there they must have had fun.
I did my regular morning chores, then did 3 loads of laundry mixed in with cleaning bathrooms, washing all the glass and dusting the basement while they played contentedly.
Once the dew dried off the grass they headed outside for some outside fun on this beautiful sunny low 80's day.
Flash loves company also and takes advantage of the added attention.
Flash loves to pose for pictures and is so lovable who couldn't love those big ole brown eyes ??
After a pizza lunch they were back outside for some tree climbing and more ball playing. G-son was as happy as I have ever seen him playing with these two new friends.
Their mom came after them about 1:15,leaving g-son alone and sad. He talked all afternoon about how much he missed them. He will definitely get to play with them more when daughter helps out watching them in August.
G-son and I lazed away the afternoon eating popsicles and pulling weeds from the outside patios. I'll let you guess who was doing what !!!
After #1 son picked up g-son and hubbie came in from work we got ready to attend a BBQ at a friends house with daughter and some of the staff from the school she works at now. The BBQ was at the house of a long time friend who coached our boys in little league about 20 years ago. We always had our team parties at this house also. It is located on a small nice and quiet lake.
The kids were loving the lake today for fishing and evening wading.
And of course if there are feathered friends around and I have a camera they are photographed.
Thanks Dave and Marcie and friends for a very nice evening.
We came home in time to get chores done before dark and I even had time for some nice down time out in the covered patio watching the day come to a close.
On days like today I humbly thank God for the strength He gives me to accomplish the things my days hold and for granting me the joy of enjoying these days so much.
Good Night and God Bless.

Sounds like an ideal day to me. Especially sitting on the porch at the end of a day. Blessings
