It was a routine morning around here with the temperature in the mid 20's when I got up. I took g-son to school, had breakfast then did chores.
I did some housework this morning and watered all my house plants. Some of my plants are looking pretty sad, if the warm weather doesn't come soon so they can get some outside time I don't think they will survive this prolonged winter.
After lunch I took a nice long walk as the temp warmed to the mid 50's and the sun finally won the battle with the clouds.
I was determined to find something starting to green up as I walked. On the south side and butted up against the basement apartment this bed of oregano has some green shoots starting to peek through.
As hard as I looked the only other green that looked springy was the swollen buds on this plum tree.
The prediction for snow for tomorrow night and Friday morning doesn't sound very conducive for spring growth.
They are back to working on the new bridge and this is the progress so far.
Although there are several workers each day the progress seems to be going really slow, but then again, I've never built a bridge before !!!
After I picked up g-son and got him settled in I did some decade photo searching.
My paternal grandfather was born on March 9,1854. He spent his life serving the community that I still live in and lived to the ripe old age of 97.
Talked to daughter this evening and she said her friends grandmother had now been given only a couple days to live because of the speed her brain cancer was advancing.
Praying for comfort for this family as they say good-bye to a very special lady in their lives.
Hubbie and I watched Survivor tonight. I don't know why we get hooked on this show each time it comes on.
Thankful for the blessings of today and praying for the family of daughter's friend.
Good Night and God Bless.

Lucky you seeing some signs of greenery and buds. Sure hope your next round of winter weather doesn't damage them. Blessings to you and your family.
