HOT SWIMMING DAY

An early alarm this morning told us that our Sam's order was ready for pick up. I had picked a time between 8:00-9:00 but the order was ready at 7:30 so we got up and grabbed a cup of coffee for the road and headed out to pick it up. Last time this pick up was a disaster but we are hoping by doing an early morning pick up it will go smoother.
It was great , we got there checked in on the app and within 5 minutes we saw the lady coming out with our order. Everything was there and we were happy with the service this time.
We came home unloaded things and got everything put away and then got chores done.
We had breakfast and were just finishing when daughter drove up with Addie,IR and CA.  We wanted to get over to a neighboring farm to a garage sale they were having.  So hubbie stayed with the girls and we headed over there.
We found several things including several plastic adirondack chairs to go around the firepit.
We unloaded here and then daughter and hubbie went up to paint the head boards she is taking to her house while I got the girls lunch . CA got to play in the playroom with the big girls today and was so happy.

After we ate and the painting was done daughter and d-in-love took all the kids over to Rita, daughter's neighbor's pool to swim for the afternoon.
All the kids enjoy this large pool with a diving board.

It started to storm so we all left about 4:30 and headed home to batten down the hatches for what looked like a bad storm. Thankfully it wasn't too bad and we got another 9/10ths inch of rain that fell a little slower than the rain we got earlier in the week. The thunder and lightening stayed in the distance and the wind wasn't too bad.
After the rain we got chores done and then finished the day watching the fog rise and the sun set.

Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night.
