The service was nice our minister didn't have the flu as he thought last Sunday,but rather a kidney infection, so he was back and fine today.
After church we had lunch with daughter, #1 son and g-son. D-in-love is working for her mom and dad and #2 son is playing golf on this really nice day.
After lunch Hubbie and daughter went over to her house to do some painting. I checked out the Sunday sale papers and found a camera on sale like I have been wanting to replace my old point and shoot.
I bought this Olympus camera. My big camera is a Cannon but I couldn't find the zoom power I wanted in a small Cannon.
As you can see this one has the 18x wide angle zoom I wanted.
After I got the camera I went over to daughter's to see what I could do to help. While they painted I mopped all her new laminate flooring.
I left them painting in the master bathroom and went to Ingles on the way home to pick up some finger foods to take to a family picnic at g-son's pre-school in the morning.
I noticed on the way home that the leaves are really showing off this year.
In the warm sunshine on this 67 degree afternoon I sat for a while out in the patio and watched some squirrels dart from place to place searching for nuts and acorns to store up for the winter ahead.
After chores I played with my new camera for a while and snapped a couple pictures, they look pretty good and I'm sure I'll get used to it and make better pictures.
Bernie is always a willing subject.
I snapped a photo of Dolly also but it was blurry and I don't know why.
Maybe different lighting ?
This camera is so much smaller than my Fuji it's wonderful and I have a case so it won't get scratched up in my purse.
I'll try it out tomorrow at g-son's picnic.
Hubbie and daughter came in later than they expected because they decided to go ahead and change the commode in her master bathroom.
I have worked on my blog book tonight and am through March 2011 now so I'm getting there.
Praising His name tonight as He showers us with undeserved blessings each day.

After returning from TX I taught my Pre~Teen Sunday school class then Kids Church. Went out for lunch with the pastors and then to my Son the Geek's house to give granddaughter her belated birthday gift.
I have to say I'm sooo smitten with your new camera...your gonna have so much fun and we're gonna have so much fun watchin'!!!! :o)
