Daughter was in and out today as her and hubbie picked up some Murray cypress trees for her to plant around her back yard.
When I got home g-son was already here,as this is #1 son and d-in-love's 6th anniversary. Son wanted to surprise her with dinner and a movie when she gets home from work this evening.
Here's the happy couple on this Saturday night 6 years ago !!
I have no idea why I can't get this photo to scan to full size !!! But anyway at least it did scan !
Daughter came to go to Asheville with us on an errand trip. We went to the Biltmore House shop to get my wassail mix supply for the holidays and cold days when only a hot cup of tea will do.
Then we stopped by the farmers market for a box of red navel oranges.
These were huge.
We also got a box of hubbie's favorite, the Lee's fruit.
These are a very tasty citrus fruit. We will divide both boxes between all the kids and us. Hopefully all this extra vitamin C will fend off the winter sickness's !!!
Speaking of which my throat was sore in one spot this morning and as the day has progressed I have lost my voice. All I can to tonight is squeak. I don't have any other symptoms but just lost my voice !!
Making some people very happy I suppose !!!
We also made stops at a Tractor Supply to look at a scrape blade the store in our town didn't have and Walmart before stopping at Sonic for supper at g-son's request. Then we headed home to do the chores for the second night in a row by flashlight. I'm thankful for the big full moon which almost makes a flashlight unnecessary.
While we were outside g-son decided that some of the ornaments on my tree would look better in different places.
Here he is studing the precise placement of some of the ones he moved.
He is just bouncing with Christmas anticipation this year.
He enjoyed Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer on TV tonight.
#1 son and d-in-love came in while it was on and son couldn't believe that same show was still on from 1964. He said he remembered watching it each year. Hubbie and I also remember watching this same show !!
After they went home Hubbie and I watched the news and he headed for bed while I blogged and then I'm off to join him.
Thanking God for the blessings of today and looking forward to spending time with my church family tomorrow.
Good night and God Bless.

CONGRATULATIONS all around!
When our kids were small they also kept moving ornaments on the tree and the little figures in their own nativity. As an adult my son still moves "his" ornaments to the most prominent places on the tree!
LOVE YOUR TREE. I MISS HAVING A LARGE TREE. WHEN WE MOVED A FEW YEARS AGO I LAID ALL MY TREE DECORATIONS OUT AND LET THE KIDS TAKE WHAT THEY WANTED. I THOUGHT IT WAS TIME AS WE WERE MOVING INTO A MUCH SMALLER SPACE.NOW WE'RE BACK IN A LARGE HOUSE AND NO TREE OR THINGS TO PUT ON ONE. BUT IT'S OK.GRAMPS IS TO OLD FOR ALL THE WORK IT TAKES.
