Whew!, another warm , muggy morning. After chores and breakfast I was on my walk when the rain started misting down, just enough to run me inside and then it stopped. Oh well I have plenty to do inside anyway so might as well get started.
I washed a load of laundry, packaged an e-bay order and got out all my baking supplies before I went to pick up g-son at pre-school.
After we had our lunch I baked cakes. The sun is shining brightly outside now and the temperature is 84 degrees.
I did some house cleaning and then g-son and I headed outside to play. We played red light/ green light, balance beam and I pushed him in the swing until Pawpaw got home from work. We even played a game to see who could make the funniest face.
HE WON !!!!!
I made a trip to sis-in-law's to pick up some baking supplies she picked up on sale for me. She said one of her aunts whom I used to go see every couple weeks with Avon has just diagnosed with liver cancer and doesn't have long to live. She is almost 84 years old so the chemo will be to much for her to handle even though she wants to try.
All the family is spread out this evening on activities. #1 son is a groomsman in his cousin's wedding and is at the rehearsal tonight, daughter is with her b-friend's family as they get ready for his college graduation tomorrow, d-in-love is dog sitting for daughter tonight.
So that leaves us with an overnight guest tonight. He is the cutest thing when he gets all soaped up in the tub.
I iced 6 caramel and 3chocolate cakes tonight and wrapped everything for market.
I am beat tonight and ready for bed for sure.
Grateful to God for the blessings of the day and praying for the mother of the groom tomorrow, she is hubbie's first cousin and one of my best school friends, not long ago she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor ,she wants to see her son get married tomorrow and I pray that God makes that possible for her.
Good Night and God Bless.
