I did end up having a very good day in part because of the large 7 cake order I took yesterday.
It is another extra warm day ,I took this photo at market because I can't remember a time when I've worn this halloween vest with a short sleeve shirt under it.
But by halloween short sleeves will be a distant memory if this forecast holds true.
A late tropical storm named Sandy is going to add to the nasty cold snap next week, causing lots of cold wind and rain and even snow as it hits in the north east. Tonight there is a forecast of snow for us also, how much they aren't saying, but if we do get some snow it would be historical for October in many places.
This is Sandy's location now and her projected path.
As I look around the market aisles at 1:00 they are completely empty,a reminder of what is ultimately in the near future.
After market I ran errands and picked up mine and daughter's baking supplies on the way to school to pick up g-son as other g-ma is having knee problems.
We had to go back to town to finish my errands and he was happy that we made a stop at sis-in-law's because Kaylie was there and they immediately started playing. He didn't want to go when it was time but we had to get home to get ready to go meet #2 son at his house.
Hubbie helped me unload and then we hurried through chores and grabbed a bite to eat before heading up to #2 son's new house.
D-in-love and g-son followed us up there so she could see the house.
The renters left the house in good shape and we didn't find anything out of order so this time next Thursday night we should be helping him move in.
I think son is getting excited and it's exciting to hear him making all his plans. It was too late this evening for pictures but I guarantee they will be coming.
On the way home we stopped at Walmart for a few things and then I came home to icing cakes. I took another big order for 6 cakes tonight. I iced 6 caramel cakes tonight to get a jump on tomorrow.
I am very tired tonight after these 2 very busy days so I'm headed to bed a little early tonight,it's 10:45.
Thankful to God for the blessings of the day and for working out #2 son's new house details.
Good Night and God Bless.

Hi Marilyn, Another busy week for us. We did go to the Smokies on Tuesday --and the colors on the Foothills Parkway were awesome...
Hope Sandy doesn't cause too much damage... Sounds VERY scary... Hope you don't get SNOW... We are going to get cold --but no snow here...
Hugs,
Betsy
Sure hope Sandy doesn't cause you any damage. Also hope you don't get snow either. God's blessings.
