After dropping g-son at school I came back home to chores. Before I sat down to breakfast I stripped off all last months furniture covers and put them in the washer. I wanted to hang them in Mother Nature's dryer so the earlier I can get them out it will leave more time for the second load to hang out.
After finally having breakfast I started housework. With all the extra first of the month cleaning to do I stayed constantly busy all afternoon between four more loads of laundry. I changed out decorations from mostly sunflowers to pumpkins and orange and yellow mums. I also baked and iced 5 chocolate layer cakes for an order to be delivered after I pick up g-son this afternoon.
I met the customers at Ingles and then we went to Staples for printer ink and the Dollar Tree for some odds and ends I needed and of course g-son found a couple things.
Back home g-son had his mac and cheese plus Texas toast for his after school snack and then finished off the apple do-nuts we bought yesterday.
His dad was painting their house so he stayed late and he and Pawpaw played soccer in the yard and lazed in the hammock on this nice mid 70's afternoon.
Hubbie went to the store tonight to get some raw hamburger meat to try to get Sadie to eat something. We have tried everything else we know of. She looks more bright eyed and doesn't act like any thing is wrong but is just not eating.
My legs are hurting tonight from making several trips up and down the attic ladder. As I climbed up there this afternoon I actually wondered how much longer I would be able to do this????
October weather is starting out a bit more like early summer rather than early fall but since we had such a
Daughter came by tonight after her volleyball game. Her teams won both games easily so it was an early night.
This is her directing her JV girls in their game.
Here is her and the varsity head coach having a laugh.
It's always nice to have a game with time to laugh and relax.
Thanking God tonight for the strength He gives me each day and for all His blessings.
Good Night and God Bless.

Hi Marilyn, We just got home from a 10 day trip... Had a marvelous time --and took over 1500 photos... ha
I read your post about your winter weather... Not sure our signs are telling us that we will have a bitter winter. We have very few nuts this year compared to other years... Haven't seen any woolyworms here --but don't think we had too many fogs in August... SO???? Who knows??? We will just have to wait and see.
Hugs,
Betsy
What a busy day you had. I don't "do" stairs as easily as I used to either. Would love to move into a one story house. Blessings
Carolina Nana,
I'm sorry to hear Sadie is not eating, Have you checked Sadie's temperature? Is Sadie drinking water? How old is Sadie if you don't mind me asking?
Stairs and Ladders, are getting to be to much on my old legs. We ended up renting an older home with no stairs. As for the ladders, I only have to use those maybe twice a year, I'm okay with that.
