FALL LEAVES

I got a good healthy laugh early this morning as g-son finished his waffles and came to me saying he was still hungry and "oh by the way I don't want to go to school today". I told him I could help with the still hungry but the school thing, well he had to go to school just like every other 7 year old he knows.  So he ate cookies and went to school.
I made it to market in a steady mist of rain this morning and market was slow as expected with the messy weather on a Thursday. I am thankful for what I did sell and I also got a really good order for Saturday. I was decked out in my Fall leaves vest today.

The leaves on my vest might be the prettiest of the season around here according to some reports that I have seen like this one from the travel channel telling folks to skip our area this year.

Other web sites are still giving us a chance to have the color we usually do but it is just late.

After market the rain stopped and I ran my regular errands as well as a couple extra stops to look for Halloween Trunk or Treat costumes. I did find a nice robe for one of us and I found some material to make hubbie a beard out of.
After standing in a very long check-out line in Walmart, wondering why they only had three cashiers working, for what seemed like at least an hour I made it home at 5:15.
Met #1 son and g-son in the driveway and I asked how g-son's day went and he said it was good and he was glad he did go to school today.
I did chores and then ate a salad for supper before crashing to rest my aching legs awhile.
The air is definitely cooler tonight than it has been by almost 10 degrees. It will really feel like fall early in the morning.
Heading for an early bedtime tonight, it's only 10:00 and I'm outta here !!!!
 God is good all the time and I thank Him each day for standing beside me in all that I do.
