RETRO MONDAY !!!!

Having a lazy morning. With the cooler weather it is nice to get a few extra minutes snuggled under the covers.
But with animals to feed I drag myself out and into the cool,cool morning air,brrr !!
After chores Hubbie worked outside weed eating and mowing while I whimped out and spent the morning inside putting an Avon order online then working on my 2009 blog book. I'm excited to get this one finished and see how it turns out. It is taking a while because this is a learn as I go experience, each time I figure something out I have to go back, but it is getting there.

It is a very cloudy day, we are sure hoping for some rain while it's cool so there won't be any storming and the garden really needs watering.

After Hubbie finished outside and we had lunch we went to Lowes to look for a glider for our outside patio shed.
This is not at all what I had in mind when I started out today but I fell in love with this metal retro glider. I really liked the yellow color better than this green but they didn't have a glider in yellow.
Got a matching chair and will probably go back and get a small table to match.

Of course they came in small boxes and it took Hubbie and I the rest of the afternoon to get them all together.
Just as we were finishing up #1 son and g-son came by and he helped Hubbie finish tearing down the remaining boards that needed to go and they closed the bottom in so this project is almost completed.
Hopefully tomorrow I will have time to shop for a patio table and chairs to go in there.

The clouds got darker this evening and a tiny shower of misty rain fell causing it to get down right cold even with a jacket on. It is supposed to get into the 40's tonight.

After evening chores and a left over supper I went back to my blog book.

I can hear the wind really whipping outside tonight,hopefully the little chicks will stay warm.
Speaking of chicks the word from the kindergarten class that I gave eggs to have 8 little chicks today.

God is good all the time !!
