Daughter met hubbie and I there with her blackberries. We had a very good day and she sold out of berries at 11:30 and we only had 1 1/2 cakes left out of all we had by market closing time 2:00.
Daughter left about 1:00 to go walk the dogs she has been sitting all week one more time before their owners come home this afternoon, then home to her house to mow grass.
I left market and made a couple supply stops on my way home. Hubbie had picked up fresh green beans and corn on his way home this morning along with making a stop at Sam's for some groceries.
The clouds were starting to cover the sky as I drove toward home. At least we have had a sunny 80 degree day today until now.
Have you ever heard the old saying "every dog has it's day" ??
Daughter came after her dog Tipper this evening and her and hubbie gave Tipper a haircut before she left. She is hoping by shaving all her hair short it will stop the constant shedding.
The rain started before she left and has continued on and off all evening. It has been very heavy at times and our county is now under a "flood warning" .
After running in and out between rain storms hubbie and I got the chores done without getting our daily soaking, just a sprinkling today !!
If this saying is true then I have a lot of folks in Heaven who are watching over me and they have all chosen this week to show it !!
Bernie one of our 4-legged kids got his grooming and bath tonight.
As I sit here typing this and listening to the rain I wonder what the morning will bring ???
Grateful to God tonight for all the blessings of this day and looking forward to what He has in store for tomorrow for me.
