G-SON GETS HIS SECOND ARM CAST

Up to greet the grand kids to begin another week. G-son went off to school with daughter and I got chores done then took RL to pre-school. For a Monday today went pretty smoothly.
I came home and had breakfast with IR and then got weekly laundry started.
Connie, IR's other g-ma picked her up about 10:00 to spend some time with her because she won't be in town Thursday to get her.
I spent the morning doing laundry while hubbie went to get a haircut.
Daughter came in to get me to take her blood pressure as she was seeing spots in front of her eyes and sure enough her blood pressure was pretty high. She rested for a few minutes then went back to school when the spots went away. She called the doctor and she has to go in the morning to get checked out.
Hubbie and I went to pick up RL and she was upset when IR wasn't there but she went to sleep as soon as we started home.
We made a stop at Tractor Supply and then headed home to let her get a good nap.
I had the first fresh from the garden things for lunch today and they were surely good.
I did more laundry and this box of hand me down toys that I keep beside the washer to entertain the girls while I work did it's job again today as RL was mesmerized with the new toys.
IR is lucky to have an aunt that is a hair dresser and she got her first haircut by Aunt Kristen and was really good and still while she cut some of the long curls from the back.

D-in-love called this afternoon and was going to have to take g-son to the ER to check out is pinky finger that he had hurt at PE in a game of dodge ball at school.
RL didn't mind the extra time here as she was outside helping hubbie with all kinds of things this afternoon until #1 son came to pick her up.
Unfortunately g-son's finger was fractured and the type of fracture needs his wrist to be stabilized to help it heel so he is in a massive cast for probably 4-6 weeks.
This is his second arm cast as a few years ago he dislocated his elbow and was in a cast for a while.
Hubbie and I spent some late hours this evening getting the garden ready for planting hopefully in the morning since the forecast now has a good chance of rain by tomorrow evening.
The clouds are already starting to bank up.
Hubbie finally got done tilling right at dark .
Our rototiller is not running very good after  it's long winter's rest so hubbie is going to have to work in it but thankfully at least the garden is ready for planting.
We came inside at almost 9:00 tonight so it is pretty much bedtime already. This Monday surely wasn't a very good start to the week for daughter or g-son so hopefully things will get better.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night

So sorry to hear g-son broke his finger and has to wear a cast. That must be a real bummer for him. Your fresh garden greens look very good. Blessings
