SLOW MARKET SATURDAY

Off to market on time this morning ,as a dense fog covered the roads on the way there.
Market was slow today but I had a couple large orders picked up so we had a good day. Daughter met hubbie and I there with her things as ball practice isn't until 11:00 today.
After market I met daughter at Aldi to pick up some supplies and then go to a few specialty shops around town to Christmas shop. I bought one thing for daughter and she bought a couple things for herself and one gift for some one she works with.
I made it home at 4:30 ,hubbie was working in his wood pile. He helped me unload and then we did evening chores and he grilled some little steaks I had bought for our supper to go with baked potatoes.
As I finished chores this evening I noticed a glorious sunset after a brief shower of rain.

The clouds quickly took over all the color as the sun disappeared below the horizon.
I have spent tonight on the couch with my 4-legged kids just resting. I feel better than I did last Saturday night and am very thankful for that.
Tomorrow is "D" day for finishing my Christmas decorating for this year. Hubbie brought the ladder down from his shop so we can get the icicle lights up and then I need to get all my electric cords out and get things hooked up.
The weather is still unbelievably warm for this time of year. I didn't even wear a jacket today and actually got hot in my long sleeves a couple times.
Later next week we are supposed to change a little but still not really uncomfortable.
I found this map showing the places and probability of a white Christmas this year.
Looks like our chances are slim to none as we are almost outside the 5% color.
Only time will tell and only God knows !!!

Thankful for a blessing filled day and looking forward to celebrating the second Sunday of Advent with my church family tomorrow.
Good Night and God Bless.

Warm here too, Marilyn. I don't like this weather this time of year. I always enjoy a roaring fire in the fireplace when the Christmas lights are up... However, it's too warm for a fire in the fireplace... Darn!!!!

I'm not sure what the winter holds for us--but so far, there's no snow in sight... Maybe January will bring us some snow!!!! (I hope!)

Have a beautiful Sunday.
Hugs,
Betsy
