Uhhhh !!!! Along with the first morning of daylight savings time and an hour earlier wake up time we were woke by the alarm on our chest freezer downstairs. The temperature in the freezer seemed to be okay and we decided it had to be something else but the lid seemed to be shut tight and we couldn't find anything else and the alarm stopped after we opened and shut the lid several times. We decided to just buy a new freezer instead of calling a repair man because this freezer is 25 years old. Hubbie checked the compressor and coils and he said a couple lines looked like they were about to rust through . I put a thermometer in the freezer and it measured 10 degrees and held so we will go tomorrow night and buy a new up right freezer. We had roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, broccoli and cheese bake for lunch. Everyone made it to lunch except son-in-love who was home waiting on wildlife biologist to come pick up 2 deer who had crashed into their fence and had died in their yard overnight.
It was odd that the deer didn't just jump the fence but it was evident that they had hit the fence very hard with 2 impressions so no one could figure out why they did that and the biologist wanted to check their brains to make sure they didn't have anything going on that was contagious.
After everyone ate we had a nice visit and then everyone left. Hubbie and I did some arranging downstairs to get a place for the new freezer before we watched the regular news and then did chores after it. This time takes some getting used to and we didn't get back inside until almost 8:00 tonight .
