Monday morning again !!! All three girls were here early this morning. We are missing g-son today who is usually here on Mondays for hubbie to take him to school but today is another teacher work day to get ready for school to open on a regular schedule tomorrow so he gets the day off. He did come up and have lunch with us today. This morning I got chores done and then ate breakfast with IR since the other two weren't hungry yet. After we ate we loaded up and headed to Fletcher Feed to get chicken feed and some Yukon Gold potato sets. The Yukon Gold potato supposedly keep better than other varieties so we want to try the taste of them before we plant a bunch of them. We will start with 5 lbs and see how they do also to keep. Our Kennebecs from last fall didn't keep well at all and now the remaining ones for 12 inch long sprouts on some of them. We are going to plant these potatoes instead of buying more Kennebec seed. We are still eating them and they still taste good but we loose alot of the potato cutting off all the sprouts. We also made a stop at Dollar General on the way home to pick up some Boric Acid to try and keep the ants and other insects out of the house this year. There is already a trail of ants outside the back patio door. We also picked up lunches and came home. CA had slept all the way around but woke up when we got home. We all had lunch with g-son and then I got laundry started. It is a beautiful day and we made the best of it. After we ate we all headed outside and played all afternoon. I came in and out getting 3 loads of laundry done and even got to hang some things out on the line to dry. The girls had fun with various activities.
