This week started out strangely with a Monday holiday and a foot of snow on the ground to cancel schools and work for everyone. Hubbie and I stayed inside all we could because of the cold temps and high winds that blew all day. The snow looks just like it did yesterday even down on the road.
The kids still got out in the cold and had fun.
Hubbie got the tractor out and tried to scrape some of the snow off the driveway and from around out entrance.
Tuesday was another day off for everyone but it was the first above freezing temperatures of the week and with the sunshine it was a very nice day to get out and have some fun with the kids. Daughter was able to get over to #1 son's house with the girls to join the fun.
CA decided she wanted to spend the night with us and she did just fine and slept all night .
Wednesday was back to work for #2 son and d-in-love-T so NP was here all day. There was still no school but d-in-love A needed to go shopping so RL stayed with us and daughter came over to get some virtual classwork lined up for tomorrow as the next two days are virtual school days since the state workers have not got the snow off all the roads and don't plant on clearing them before the end of the week.
RL is good entertainment for the babies !!
Snow is still pretty deep especially in the shady areas.
Thursday was a pretty much back to normal day for us except IR didn't go to school. I had to get out for the first time and go to the post office and the roads are still pretty bad with piles of snow everywhere.
Friday we had all the girls at different times while all the girls worked on different schedules. It was a cold day not getting out of the upper 20's so no melting today.
Hubbie has caught IR and CA's head cold and cough so he isn't feeling very well so this Saturday was a pretty calm inside housecleaning day . NP and EA came to stay this morning while their moms went to an exercise class and IR and CA came to stay this afternoon and we just enjoyed the day with the girls.
We had our regular Sunday family lunch and all the kids and family had a great visit on a cold day.
Thankful for all the continued blessings and so thankful for a wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
