Up to get going on this Saturday morning. It is 37 degrees this morning as the temperature slowly drops lower and lower.
I got chores done and got ready for market. We actually made it a few minutes early but no one was there to notice.
The sales began pretty slow but picked up when the sun shine warmed the day and I had a good day for the first of November.
I am very thankful for the customers that choose to shop with me in this slow time of year.
Hubbie left market after we got set up and did our shopping at Sam's Club and then came home to work in the yard.
I left market on time and hurried home to get things unloaded and get a short rest before getting chores done early so we could get out to the high school at 5:00 to the annual athletic fund raiser draw down.
There was lots of auction items to bid on. I bid on one of the items for g-son but we didn't win.
Hubbie and I , daughter and son-in-love with IR , #1 son and g-son all came to the event. We all had a nice steak dinner provided by Outback steak house before the ticket drawing began.
My ticket number was the very first number called out so I got my choice to put the ticket back in or just take my money back that I had spent on the ticket. I chose the $100 back and felt like a winner with the 2 free steak dinners hubbie and I ate. Both daughter's and #1 son's tickets were called out before the last 3 winning tickets .
We all stayed and waited to see who the winners were and then headed home at 9:30.
Tonight daylight savings time ends so we set our clocks all back one hour.
I am very thankful for the blessings of this day .
