When we arrived on Grand Turk we picked up our golf cart we had reserved for the day.
This is a small mostly flat island so we set out to explore.
We stopped at one of the beaches to let the kids play in the water and where there was supposed to be restaurants and shops but although the water was pretty the beach was still littered and there were no restaurants or shops only empty foundations and hungry dogs.
Not long after we arrived at the beach these dark clouds produced some pretty heavy rain so we loaded up in the golf cart and went to find the historic lighthouse.
Along the way we saw many donkeys, a herd of horses and some pretty pink flamingoes.
We found the lighthouse but just took some pics as the rain was pretty heavy.
We headed back to the little shopping plaza where the ship was docked to pick up a few souvenirs before we left.
I couldn't help but notice all the damaged homes all over the island.
We got back on the ship just as the sun came back out for a nice sunset.
I made it through dinner tonight as we were just pulling out and there wasn't much movement .
Another blessing filled day and now prayers for traveling mercies as we head back to the good old USA.
God Bless and Good Night
