Up for breakfast with everyone. The kids are raring to get to the beach so we loaded up the golf carts and headed across the road. We sat up our canopy and the RL and IR headed for the water.
RL and IR made a friend today and they played for a long time together.
We also did some shark tooth hunting today and were lucky enough to find quite a few. This is IR's first tooth find.
We gathered under our canopy for a short rain shower and watched the rain circle around us out into the ocean, then the sun came back out hotter than before it seemed.
The girls played for a while until it was time to head inside to have lunch and dodge what looked like another rain shower. Thankfully we made it inside and were just sitting down for lunch when the rain poured down. After we ate we watched the rain for a little while and let all the kids play, even g-son joined in to the girls delight.
#1 son's family went to Walmart and daughter's family and hubbie and I rode the golf cart around the resort . We spotted this alligator in one of the small ponds.
This is really a pretty place. We shopped in a beach shop and ordered takeout supper on our way back. While we waited to pick up our take out the rain came back and we got pretty soaked on the way back to the villa on the golf cart. We all ate supper and then decided to go walk on the beach. The sun was out and we thought the rain was over so the kids enjoyed a fun walk.
We found 2 live starfish on our walk and CA found a dead one to proudly show the big girls.
CA started getting into the water for the first time with g-son so we all said he has to go to the beach tomorrow with us tomorrow. Our walk ended with a loud crack of thunder and we all got soaked once again before we found the closest shelter in this garage to take cover until the rain shower passed by us.
After coming back to the villa for towels and dry clothes we headed out to an ice cream shop to get treats for the kids. We came back to the villa and spent the evening relaxing. There was a tropical system that formed just off the coast today and was strong enough to be named Bill, but thankfully it moved out to sea hopefully taking all these pop up showers with it.
Thankful for another fun family beach day.
God Bless and Good Night
