Up to a warmer more spring feeling day for a change. Both girls were here and had breakfast while I did chores.
I took RL to pre-school but she didn't act like she wanted to go today for the first time. I think she has something bothering her for sure.
I came home and had my breakfast then started baking . I baked 6 caramel, 2 chocolate, 2 pound , 1 blackberry wine and 1 pan of brownies before having a late lunch.
IR and hubbie had already eaten and she was down for a nap by this time.
While she napped hubbie collected our trash and recyclables and I pulled the grass that is growing in our gravel walkway in the backyard.
Daughter came in early from work and fed IR before she and hubbie went over to meet the man that is building her modular home at the land she is buying.
IR stayed home and g-son joined us while his mom took RL to the doctor to have her ears checked as she has complained all day with her ears hurting.
G-son hardly ever gets alone time with IR and both of them enjoyed the time together.
Son-in-love and #1 son both went over to their land also and when they all came back hubbie and I got the evening chores done and then had a nice visit.
RL was diagnosed with a double ear infection at the doctors and put on a new strong antibiotic so hopefully she will be back to her fun self soon. Her doctor's office has a really nice play area in the waiting room.
After they all left I did weekly paperwork and then watched Survivor on TV with hubbie before icing my cakes and getting things ready for market.
It was after midnight when I finally got things done and fell into bed already with a sore back and knees from my grass pulling efforts this afternoon.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and for the strength He blesses me with each day. As Holy Week continues I am forever grateful for the sacrifice of my Savior.
God Bless and Good Night

ANOTHER INSIDE PLAY CLOUDY COOL DAY
Another one g-daughter morning as IR came very early today so daughter could meet at the bus garage at 7am to have her bus drivers card renewed. She already got her new license but had to test drive the bus again to be recertified .
RL felt so bad yesterday that her mom let her sleep a little extra this morning as she had an errand to run before she went to work anyway.
#1 son brought g-son up here on his way to work at 7am and a family friend who's son, Andrew always rides to school with d-in-love and g-son also was dropped off by his mom at 7:15. Alicia teaches at Apple Valley middle school and she has to be at work by 7:30 and kids aren't allowed to be dropped off at the elementary school until after 7:30 so that is why we all work together to get these kids where they need to be on time. Hubbie took g-son and Andrew to school at 7:30 so they could eat breakfast there.
IR and I had an early breakfast while he was gone.
When he got back I did chores then worked some more on house cleaning and changing my décor out until we decided to make a trip to the Amazon return place on the way to pick up RL. Daughter wanted a couple things and hubbie picked out a small outside lot for the dogs that we bought.
We picked up RL and stopped and got her chicken nuggets to eat before she went to sleep on the way home.
RL took a good nap while IR, hubbie and me had lunch and then she woke up to play with IR.
She is serving pieces of pie !!!
These cloudy upper 40's days are getting old as the itch to get outside and feel some warm sunshine on our face gets more intense each day .
D-in-love picked up RL and daughter fed IR and then left her here with me while her and hubbie went over to do some measuring on the piece of land she is buying.
IR napped while they were gone and then played with one of her new toys when they got back.

Daughter took the ball turtle home and out it together and IR loves it.
And she celebrated her 40 week birthday in the new ball turtle.
Hubbie and I did chores then we had supper and relaxed for the evening.

Sticker face must run in the family as RL's face tonight on the right and her brother when he was 3 on the left shows !!!
Thankful for the blessings of this day and the love of Jesus Christ. As Holy Week continues I pray that all mankind remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us as this Sunday gets closer.Monday, March 26, 2018
HAPPY #33 TO DAUGHTER
Only one g-daughter this morning again as IR has a doctor's appointment for a check up this morning and daughter is taking the day off work since it is her birthday.
RL was here at the regular time but not in the best of moods on this Monday morning.
I got chores done and took her to pre-school.
I came home and had breakfast then got the weekly laundry started. I vacuumed the furniture and changed all the furniture and bed covers .
Daughter and IR came by after the doctor appointment and IR is the size of a 14 month old but is appropriately proportioned at 98% in height and 92% in weight .
Son-in-love is taking 1/2 day off work and taking them out to lunch and spending the day together.
I took down the March décor but didn't have time to get out my Easter things before it was time to pick up RL.
RL didn't have a good day at school and was still whiny when I picked her up. Probably the lingering effects of the virus she has.
She went to sleep on the way home and slept a good long nap but woke up really fussy.
I finished laundry and hubbie worked outside cleaning up the yard while she slept.
Thankfully it wasn't too long after she woke up that her mom picked her up.
Hubbie and I did chores early and then met some family members at Outback to celebrate daughter's 33rd birthday.

Thankful for the blessings of this day as well as the kids God blessed me with. Hubbie and I are both so proud of the adults they have become.

PALM SUNDAY 2018
This Palm Sunday started out as another dreary cold day. I got chores done, had breakfast and got some things done for lunch today before we left for church.
Church was good and the sermon of course was about Jesus's entry into Jerusalem on a donkey to begin Holy Week .

One of the young boys in our church family is facing a major surgery this week so we all gathered and prayed for him and his mom and dad.
After church we had a big crock pot full of chili with corn on the cob and corn bread to feed #1 son and g-son plus Aa's family.

After they all left hubbie and I actually spent the cold dreary afternoon napping.
Daughter and IR came by on their way to a baby shower and then we watched some March madness basketball as Villanova and Kansas continue there title chase this year and Texas Tech and Duke go home.
I emptied 1/2 inch of rain from the gauge this evening at chore time .
Tonight was an uneventful evening and we continued our Sunday rest day.
The kids all went to the Church's annual Easter egg hunt this afternoon at the local community center and it looks like everyone had a wonderful time.
Also happy # 32 to Re today as she celebrates another birthday.
Thankful for the great sacrifice of Jesus Christ who bravely faced death so that we may be forgiven for our sins.

BUSY WINTRY MARKET DAY
Up to a cold rainy morning. Hubbie said when he had gotten up with Bernie to take him out to the bathroom earlier it was sleeting but at daylight it has all turned to rain.
I did chores and then got ready for market. I changed out the clothes I had previously thought about wearing today for this heavier sweater. I'm tired of winter clothes and am surely looking forward to warmer weather and less clothing and every time I pull on these thick snow boots I keep thinking this will be the last time for them this year but somehow I'm still wearing them.
We made it on time and got set up just as daughter and IR arrived with her breads.
We took turns with IR until she went down for a nap. Market sales were pretty good today surprisingly in the nasty weather.
At different times today we had rain, sleet and snow with upper 30's temps.
Hubbie went to g-son's soccer game which they still played in a break in the heavy rains.
G-son scored a goal today which made him happy and hit the goal posts with several other shots.
He is going to be a good soccer player if he stays interested in it.
Daughter and IR left to go grocery shopping around noon.
I had a Curb Market board meeting after market today which lasted until 3:30.
I made a stop at Aldi on the way home to pick up a few baking supplies for Thursday. This next week should be pretty busy with Easter coming up.
I put things away and then called hubbie to see where he was. He was up in his shop working on some coffee cup holders and ladders from the old tobacco sticks daughter bought.
She is going to sell them at market.
Hubbie and I rested and watched it rain the evening away.
We did chores early as we heard the distant thunder start and saw lightening streak across the sky.
By the time we were finishing up chores the rain had gotten heavier and the thunder and lightening were much closer as a storm passed us.
It has rained steadily all evening as we relax and watch TV.
The "U", Uma, storm is what is causing all this latest weather for us as it passes through to the coast.
There is more snow for some areas as this storms goes out to sea.

ANOTHER COLD WINTRY SPRING DAY
Only one g-daughter this morning as RL is going to the doctor at 9:00 to get checked out for her fever.
I took advantage of not having to make a trip to pre-school this morning and slept in a few minutes.
The chickens didn't seem to mind staying in their warm houses a few extra minutes on this 28 degree morning.
Back inside I had breakfast and then fixed IR her breakfast and bottle.
Hubbie did some house cleaning this morning while I baked. As my baking increases we will need to switch our cleaning day back to Tuesday since my Fridays will be busy baking days.
Today I baked 6 caramel, 1 chocolate, 1 coconut, 2 pound and 1 blackberry wine cakes. I have 2 orders tomorrow for 4 cakes and with Easter coming next week I should end this month on a good sales note.
IR and hubbie had their lunch at regular time and I had a late salad lunch before I went over to Aa's to give the baby goat his midday bottle.
When I came back home #2 son was here printing some papers on my computer. He said they had their house pretty much set up and were getting help from her family tonight to get the cement table top in place to see if it was going to work out.
After son left hubbie, IR and I went to Ingles to check out a special sale they are having this afternoon.
IR was picking out stuff to buy !!!

We got home and settled in to rest until daughter got here to pick IR up.
Not too many late March days do we need a fire in the wood stove all day .
This crazy weather just keeps getting crazier as we are expecting more snow for our area tomorrow.
The high today was 53 degrees but tomorrow is supposed to be a very raw cold day maybe pushing 40 for the high with snow and cold rain falling.
After daughter and IR left hubbie and I got the chores done and then I iced cakes and got things ready for market .
Thankful for the blessings of this day and RL only having a virus and feeling better already later today.

SCARY WINDY NIGHT
I was very surprised that we still had our power this morning. I got off the computer quickly last night as I heard tree limbs start falling outside the window . Hubbie and I went outside to see if we could see anything damaged. Our transformer had a fire on the small limb that is still caught in the lines running into it.
It was scary strong winds and we were afraid to get off the covered porch to check anything out.
The lights dimmed and blinked but came back to normal each time.
We both just went to bed and prayed for all the animals and things outside .
The scanner was alive with downed trees in roadways on this side of the county.
As I drifted off to sleep once again wondering what we would wake up to.
The wind is still blowing this morning but not nearly as hard as it was last night thankfully and we are so thankful to have power.
Both girls were in good moods this morning making the market morning go much faster.
Only a few smaller limbs on my chicken houses thankfully.
I dropped RL at her pre-school and IR and I met hubbie at market. We got things carried in and set up while she watched.
This is spring cleaning day at market and many of the vendors were already busy cleaning their areas.
We fed IR and then Connie, other g-ma, picked her up just before she went down for her morning nap.
After they left hubbie washed the windows behind my table while I moved things out from under my table and cleaned off all the shelves. Hubbie took a bunch of things with him to the dump to rid my space of some clutter.
I had a pretty good selling day today and sold several whole cakes.
After hubbie left I made copies of the minutes from our last board meeting to give to all the board members at our next monthly meeting coming up Saturday.
I left market and stopped at the PO and Aldi on my way home.
Hubbie helped me unload and get things put away before we took a short break .
Daughter has a haircut appointment at 4:45 so she brought IR here to stay.
She was hypnotized by the diffuser mist in the sunlight !!
Hubbie and I took turns getting our chores done this evening and staying inside with IR.
Poor RL suddenly started complaining with not feeling good this evening and when her mom took her temp it was 101.5 so she is headed to the doctor in the morning.

One of her dogs passed away earlier this week and she says she needs to be Abe's friend now since he is the only dog they have left.
I hope there is nothing serious wrong with RL.
Later this evening her brother also started running a low grade fever ??? !!!
Hubbie and I watched some March madness tonight. Since UNC lost we really don't have a favorite but I like to see the underdogs win and 11 seeded Loyola beat 7 seeded Nevada in the game we watched tonight.
Thankful for this wonderful day of blessings and praying for the kids that are not feeling well tonight that they get better quickly.
God Bless and Good Night
