PALM SUNDAY 2018

This Palm Sunday started out as another dreary cold day. I got chores done, had breakfast and got some things done for lunch today before we left for church.
Church was good and the sermon of course was about Jesus's entry into Jerusalem on a donkey to begin Holy Week .
One of the young boys in our church family is facing a major surgery this week so we all gathered and prayed for him and his mom and dad.

After church we had a big crock pot full of chili with corn on the cob and corn bread to feed #1 son and g-son plus Aa's family.
After they all left hubbie and I actually spent the cold dreary afternoon napping.
Daughter and IR came by on their way to a baby shower and then we watched some March madness basketball as Villanova and Kansas continue there title chase this year and Texas Tech and Duke go home.
I emptied 1/2 inch of rain from the gauge this evening at chore time .
Tonight was an uneventful evening and we continued our Sunday rest day.
The kids all went to the Church's annual Easter egg hunt this afternoon at the local community center and it looks like everyone had a wonderful time.

Also happy # 32 to Re today as she celebrates another birthday.

Thankful for the great sacrifice of Jesus Christ who bravely faced death so that we may be forgiven for our sins.
God Bless and Good Night
