I did chores and then got ready for market. I changed out the clothes I had previously thought about wearing today for this heavier sweater. I'm tired of winter clothes and am surely looking forward to warmer weather and less clothing and every time I pull on these thick snow boots I keep thinking this will be the last time for them this year but somehow I'm still wearing them.
We made it on time and got set up just as daughter and IR arrived with her breads.
We took turns with IR until she went down for a nap. Market sales were pretty good today surprisingly in the nasty weather.
At different times today we had rain, sleet and snow with upper 30's temps.
Hubbie went to g-son's soccer game which they still played in a break in the heavy rains.
G-son scored a goal today which made him happy and hit the goal posts with several other shots.
He is going to be a good soccer player if he stays interested in it.
Daughter and IR left to go grocery shopping around noon.
I had a Curb Market board meeting after market today which lasted until 3:30.
I made a stop at Aldi on the way home to pick up a few baking supplies for Thursday. This next week should be pretty busy with Easter coming up.
I put things away and then called hubbie to see where he was. He was up in his shop working on some coffee cup holders and ladders from the old tobacco sticks daughter bought.
She is going to sell them at market.
Hubbie and I rested and watched it rain the evening away.
We did chores early as we heard the distant thunder start and saw lightening streak across the sky.
By the time we were finishing up chores the rain had gotten heavier and the thunder and lightening were much closer as a storm passed us.
It has rained steadily all evening as we relax and watch TV.
The "U", Uma, storm is what is causing all this latest weather for us as it passes through to the coast.
There is more snow for some areas as this storms goes out to sea.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and for the love of Jesus Christ and the sacrifice He made for all mankind.
God Bless and Good Night
