Up to greet IR and CA this morning while hubbie took g-son to school. When he got back I got chores done and the had breakfast with the girls. It was 33 degrees this morning and the wind is really whipping outside. Thankfully we didn't get the 40-50mph gust they were predicting and only a few small pine branches were blown down around the hen lots. We got ready after we ate and loaded up in hubbie's truck to go run our weekly errands. We made stops at the PO , the dump, Sav Mor grocery store, picked up our curbside grocery order at Aldi and also stopped by Dollar General to get more Easter egg stuffers. We made it home for a late lunch. The girls had peanut better and jelly sandwiches , I had a salad and hubbie had grilled cheese sandwiches. After we ate we all sat in the living room and watched cartoons. It has stayed really cold all day only getting into the mid 40's and still windy. It was a good day to have a restful afternoon. After daughter came after the girls hubbie and I watched the early news and the weather forecast is still for low 20's temps for tonight and probably a new record for our area. After chores hubbie and I got out all our extra blankets and covered the budding blueberry bushes and blooming pear trees as best we could. Don't know if this will help or not but we've got to try something.
