Thankfully we don't have anywhere to go today so we got some extra sleep before chores.
The sun shining through the trees and bushes makes the ice a sparkling wonderland this morning.
This little Lambs Ear that decided to sprout out early this year is probably having second thoughts about it early arrival .
There is still a lot of frozen snow still left this morning.
We had breakfast and then settled in to wait for the kids who are coming as their moms go to work later this morning.
IR and CA arrived around 10am and RL and g-son arrived about 30 minutes later. We all had an early lunch so I could have the kitchen for baking.
IR and RL played with dolls that RL brought and g-son played games on his phone while CA napped after they ate.
I baked 5 caramel, 2 chocolate, 1 special order chocolate cake with caramel icing and a pan of brownies.
The girls were having a snack while watching some birds outside at the feeders.
Daughter got off at 2:00 today so she picked up IR and took her to Walmart to get some baby dolls like RL has since they have been alternating playing and fighting over them all day.
On the way home she crashed while taking care of her new babies !!!
Hubbie and I got chores done after d-in-love got here a little later than her regular time and then I spent the evening icing cakes and getting things ready for market.
EL and BB are having a great time at Disney World this week and I'm sure will be sad to have to leave Florida and come home tomorrow.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.
