Up earlier today to get a busy day started. I got chores done then came in and started getting food ready for the baby shower. I am making a crock pot full of cocktail wieners and this watermelon baby carriage.
Hubbie helped get the watermelon cut while I prepared the fruit to go into it. Daughter came by and helped with the cantelope baby . She left the girls here and went to Walmart to pick up some last minute things and then brought the girls back lunch while she went home to load up her van with her contributions to the shower. The cupcakes she made that held the roses we made the other night look really good.
D-in-love-A and Re also are making food for the shower. Our side of the family was in charge of food and d-in-love-Tif's side was in charge of decorations. We rented the community center for the shower and everything looked really good.
They got so many nice gifts and everything turned out really good with family and friends.
It was a great afternoon and we are so looking forward to this new addition to the family.
We were fortunate to get home and get unloaded before the rain began. There was strong storms once again in the distance but we only got a good slow rain. We did chores in raingear for the first time in a long time.
Thankful for a wonderful blessing filled Sunday and thankful for family and friends.
