HELLO JULY 2021

As this morning welcomed in another month it felt like July with all the humidity we have right now. The sun is shining but we are supposed to get rain later today and tonight.  Hubbie left early to make a trip to the dump with our last load of barn trash plus all our trash. I got chores done and had breakfast by the time he got back.  This is our regular errand day and I have some folks picking up cakes at the Curb market at 11:00 so we were afraid we might not be able to get there on time if we went to the dump on the way. Plus there is not a lot of room in the truck to haul cakes in the cool air conditioning.  We went straight to the market to meet up with the customers and I put an extra cake in just in case someone wanted extra and thankfully I did because there was a couple there really wanting a caramel cake for the weekend.  We left there and made stops at Sav Mor grocery, the bank and PO on the way home.  We also stopped at the school and picked up lunches .  I fixed a stir fry from the fresh zuchinni and snap peas from our garden and hubbie had a sandwich.  Daughter brought the girls in for lunch of cheese quesadillas from school . Daughter had a hair appointment at 1:30 so the girls stayed with us while she went there. We played outside and ate popsicles after lunch until she got back. After they left hubbie and I watched the early news of the newly named tropical storm headed toward the gulf. Pray for the searchers at the fallen condo buildings in Miami , that they aren't hampered by this storm as they continue to look for survivors in the ruble.  

The girls wanted us to take them to gymnastics this afternoon so we went and stayed with them while they had their class.

During the class the girls got their heads together and decided they wanted to spend the night with us. So they went home to have dinner and pack their things and then came over here around 7:30.  We had gotten chores done before they arrived and were set to have a fun evening. I did have to ice 3 caramel cakes I had made earlier in the day but that didn't take long. The girls had a bath and then we all settled down to watch TV. They were both pretty worn out so as soon as I finished my bath and got ready for bed and layed down on the couch they both came to lay with me and were both sound asleep in minutes.  Hubbie and I watched the news then he carried them to bed .

Thankful for the blessings of this day and for the sweet blessing of these 2 little sweethearts that are making our life wonderful right now.
