JANUARY 1 thru JANUARY 5 TO START 2020

New Years day dawned clear and beautiful.

I spent the morning after chores cooking our traditional lunch of ham, collard greens and blackeyed peas for health, wealth and luck.

#2 son and d-in-love Tif were our only guest today as daughter's family and Aa's family are all still recovering from the flu and #1 son's family went to Rutherfordton to have lunch with d-in-love A's family.
#2 son went over to check on the progress at their house and were pleased with how much they have gotten done so far.

The rest of this week was work days for hubbie and I as the holiday break is coming to an end .
The days started out foggy but cleared off and were warm but there was some snow predicted but our area only saw a few flurries.

I had a good market day Saturday to begin the new year.
Thankful for this first week of a new year and all the blessings it contained.
God Bless and Good Night
