We are getting things going a little earlier today because we are taking Rocky our tri-colored Aussie with us to drop RL off at pre-school because the vet's office is near her school and he is due for his rabies shot.
We put him in a large crate in the back of my Honda and RL talked to him all the way to her school.
He was very nervous and hard to hold on to waiting his turn in the vet's office.
We had another late breakfast then hubbie went out to the garden to spray and I changed out more decorations around the house.
We went to pick up RL and stopped for burgers on the way back to Granddad's apple house to have lunch and celebrate the first day of October on the apple/pumpkin farm.
The girls measured themselves.
We ended our stay here with ice cream and apple turnovers, yummy !!!
We came home so daughter could go drive the bus and pick up kids for the Boys and Girls Club this afternoon.
RL did good entertaining CA when she woke up from her nap.
And then RL and IR took turns fixings each other's hair.
After everyone went home hubbie and I got chores done and watched the evening news. Today was another record breaking hot day even with a short shower of rain this afternoon.
We are 18 degrees warmer than normal on the 1st day of October and all the fire fighters are getting really uneasy about wild fires breaking out .
Thankful for the blessings of this day and the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

We have had nothing but rain here and all the hot temps. Spent some time in the basement last night as the tornado sirens went off. Very unusual weather this year. Blessings
