GOOD BYE JUNE 2021

Up to a busy morning today. I got chores done and then grabbed a cup of coffee and a breakfast bar as we loaded the Honda with a couple orders to deliver this morning. We met a cake customer first then went across town to Walgreens to pick up a couple things before meeting our egg customer. On the way home we stopped in Ingles to take advantage of a couple sale items they had this week. We got home and started grilling some brats and hot dogs for lunch. Daughter and the girls came over to have lunch with us.   After lunch we headed outside for the afternoon playtime.

IR and Meow Meow continued their new found friendship.

CA got her first lesson in driving the jeep as IR rode along and pushed the gas while CA steered.
Daughter and the girls went home for naps and hubbie went over with them to pick up their trash so he could get his truck loaded with the remaining barn clean out trash. I went to work in the garden. I hoed all the weeds once a gain.
I picked the first cucumbers of the season along with more squash.
After I finished the hoeing I watered some potted plants and discovered a couple pretty bloomers.

We got evening chores done and then spent the last evening of June 2021 watching the sky cloud up.

This month has flown by faster than ever with one week spent at the beach and the work in the garden and the barn clean out. As school ended and we got our summer routine started it was time for vacation and then we returned to early summer work.  June was a cooler than normal month which was nice but we were very dry as we watched rain fall all around us. Gardening so far has been challenging this year with the cool dry days but thankfully we have probably more than enough.  Several family members got a year older this month with d-in-love-Tif, hubbie, IR and Aa all celebrating birthdays this month.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and thankful for another month of wellness for our family and the grace of God in our travels.
God Bless and Good Night
