LAST DAY OF LITCHFIELD BEACH 2021 VACATION

Up to another beautiful sunny day. We all had our normal routine with breakfast then getting ready for the beach. I will admit it is getting harder to get everything together and get it all carried down to the beach each day !!  My shoulders are sore from the weight of the beach chairs and bags I carry.  The kids went straight into the water as soon as we got to the beach. They wanted to make the most of the last beach day.  We let them pretty much do whatever they wanted to do .

The daddys stayed in the "deep" water as the girls call it for most of the morning.
This is a wide beach but as the days have heated up this week it has gotten more crowded each day.

About 1:30 everyone was really tired so we took the canopy down and loaded things up for the last time and headed back to the villa. These golf carts have been so nice to have to haul things around but it is still a long walk to the beach from where we park the carts.  We had a smorgusborg lunch to get the food all ate up.  It is amazing what it takes to feed the 10 of us for a week.  After we ate we headed for the pool and playground for the last time. The pool is a lot less things to bring.  The kids played all afternoon in the pools and on the swings.

When all the kids tired out we headed home. #1 son and hubbie went to Chick-f-la to pick up supper while we got the kids cleaned up and got some things all picked up around the house. We took the girls outside under these pretty trees to make some pics but they were hungry and tired and a fire alarm went off at the condo units across the road and scared the girls so the pictures didn't turn out real well.

When they got back with supper we ate then hubbie and I went with daughter's family to ride around the resort to look at houses for next year.  The girls are going to miss these golf cart rides !!!

RL had been complaining with her stomach hurting all evening and when we got back to the villa she had thrown up and was still pretty sick. Hopefully she just drank too much ocean and pool water today and hasn't picked up a virus somewhere. All the kids were completely worn out from a week of fun in the sun and water from the oldest to the youngest .

We packed most of our things in the cars tonight so we can get an early start in the morning. We are praying for traveling mercies and that the storm in the gulf allows us to get home before it's rains move over our area.

Thankful for the blessings of this day and very thankful for a wonderful family time week and that  RL is all better after a good night's sleep.

God Bless and Good Night
