SALE DAY IS HERE

 Up to get chores done while hubbie took g-son to school and then he rode with daughter to take IR to pre-school.  I had my oatmeal and blackberry breakfast with home grown honey by son-in-love's dad to sweeten it.  Daughter came here with CA and EA for the morning to wait until it was time for us to go over to the pre-sale at the children's sale. Daughter purchased a "premier" ticket that gets in to the sale a day early and with a limited number of buyers. D-in-love-Tif and #2 son also have a ticket and met us there.  We arrived about 11:45 and there was already a line waiting for the doors to open at noon.  We went straight for the things we saw yesterday while we were putting our things out and got most of them except a picnic table daughter wanted.  We all found some really great deals and were lucky to be able to get everything we bought into both our vehicles to haul home. This sale blows my mind every year with the amount of stuff they have for sale and the prices are great also.

We get to go back Saturday night for the half off what is left sale that starts for regular shoppers on Sunday with that "premier" ticket. 

We left there and headed to pick something up for a very late lunch on the way home as were all famished from all the shopping and no one had eaten lunch before we went.

We got home and unloaded all our goodies and the IR and CA were so glad to see all the new things we had gotten them. I will make pictures tomorrow if I can remember !!! #2 son came by with the things we had to put in his vehicle to haul for us. 

After they all left hubbie and I watched the news of the cool temperatures coming in next week that is going to really welcome in Fall with seasonal temperatures. 

Today has been a dreary drizzly day that left 1/2 inch of rain in the gauge and really made our Kale , broccoli and cabbage plants happy !!!

We got evening chores done and settled in for a restful evening.
