ELECTION DAY 2020

Up to greet IR and CA only today . Schools are closed today on election day so daughter went to work a little later and we got some extra zzz's today. A beautiful start to this day.

I got chores done and then we all had breakfast. After a little playtime we loaded up and headed out to deliver a cake and pick up our Walmart order.  We also picked up lunches on the way home.  CA went to sleep as soon as we left in the car and hubbie carried her in and layed her on the couch where she slept another 2 hours for a good nap.  IR ate lunch with us and then played quietly to let her sister sleep.   Hubbie fed CA when she woke up and IR and I sat in the living room watching a frozen movie.  It is really nice day outside with bright warm sunshine and Meow Meow was truly enjoying the warm as I thought he was dead he was so asleep until her finally moved.

After the girls left hubbie went over to daughter's to fix some things the wind damaged and I got chores done.  Hubbie was late getting home and had to finish his part of the chores in the dark. Thankfully he made it safely .
The day ended as beautiful as it started with this spectacular red sky.

As I listen to the election turnouts tonight I am more afraid of what some people of America will do when whoever wins tonight than I am of what the elected candidate will do.

People in this country have became so self-centered and intent on having their way that the majority rules freedom elections are no longer honored by many.  Throw in the trials of voting during this covid-19 election with many many mail in ballots and early votes this is going to be very interesting and I just pray that common decency and care for your fellow man will come to mind .  But with so many folks refusing to wear face mask for the protection and good of your fellow man going by the wayside this election unlike any other makes me feel really uncomfortable.                                                                                                             Anyway hopefully the morning will tell who was the victor.
I am going to get an early bedtime and hopefully sleep better than I did last night with an aching hip and knee.
Thankful for the blessings of this day. Very thankful that Connie, son-in-love's mom was released from the hospital today after learning to walk with a walker.
God Bless and Good Night

I am just praying that when all the votes are tallied and a winner is announced that people just accept the results. No more rioting because you didn't get your way. Grow up people!! May God bless you and your family.
