HELLO COLD FIRST DAY OF REGULAR TIME

An early wake up this morning before the alarm sounded as this regular time lets us get that extra hour, don't know how long it will last but it is nice !!!   My goal is an earlier bedtime and that will automatically make for an earlier wake up time.   This big old full moon is still peeping in and out behind clouds on this cold night as Meow Meow set the camera off as he walked by.

All 4 grands are here this morning. Hubbie took g-son to school and then I got chores done when he got back. The wind is still blowing so we didn't have any frost but the temps did get down to 30 and there was a thin layer of ice on the water pans. I uncovered all the plants and then headed inside to warm up and have breakfast.  After I ate I delivered a cake and then came home to have hubbie check a tire that was showing low air pressure on this cold morning. He went ahead and put some extra air in all four as usually they need extra when the cold sets in.                                                                                   The girls are playing quietly together while CA gets her morning nap.

They made a short trip outside with pawpaw earlier so they are pretty content to play indoors today. I got laundry started and then went out to pick up lunch and then we all ate with CA still napped.   After she woke up she had lunch and I continued with our weekly laundry loads. Thankfully it is nice and sunny and even with the temps still in the high 40's and windy I hung some things that can't go in the dryer out on the line to dry.     When we start having a fire in the wood stove in the basement I will hang these things inside but until we start having fires it is nice to hang them outside and not have the added humidity in the basement.                                                                                                                                    After the girls were picked up hubbie and I went out to get our chores done. We covered the plants once again to give them some extra warmth in the upper 20's lows predicted for tonight.  Meow Meow was taking in all the Fall scenery this evening.

I have already said this once but I'm pretty sure this time will be the last time I say that I picked the last of the hot peppers from the garden this year.

It is nice to get in the house in time for the regular news now and this hurricane season just seems like it is not going to end with the storm turning into a dangerous Cat 4 hurricane today.

We are having a nice relaxing evening still praying for son-in-love's mom who is still in the hospital recovering from a stroke and for Kristen, son-in-love's sister-in-law who is dealing with a broken ankle.                                                                                                                                                              Thankful for our health that we never take for granted and for all the other blessings of this day.              God Bless and Good Night

Saying a prayer for son-in-law's mom and for Kristen. We had a real blustery cold, weekend. Even had a few snow flakes. Today temps are warming up a bit, yay!! Blessings
