RESTFULL SUNDAY

Days like this is when I feel like I am writing such boring things that it isn't worth the effort of writing a post.  This has been a regular Sunday with one of our own harvested roosters providing a good meal of chicken and rice with some of our home grown cabbage boiled and some of our own green beans and creamed corn with a fruit salad for dessert being the only thing that didn't come from our land.  Everyone made it to lunch except daughter's family who went down to check on son-in-love's mom to see how she is progressing after her stroke. They said she is responding to the treatments and some of the feeling is coming back so that is very good to hear.                                                                                                          After everyone left I put away laundry and then went out to get chores done. It is a very windy day and the remaining leaves are raining down this afternoon for sure.                                                                                 We covered our plants tonight with quilts since the prediction is for the wind to die down overnight allowing the temperature to plunge.                                                                                                                   We came inside and rested for the evening to recharge for a new week.                                                          Very thankful for the blessings of this day and thankful for our health and safety during this crazy time.    God Bless and Good Night
