A quiet Sunday morning as we got up and got chores done and had breakfast. We had roast beef in the crock pot overnight and we made mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and green beans to go with it plus an apple crisp and biscuits. All the kids went to Re's house for Sunday school and had a great time.
Everyone except #2 son and Tif made it to lunch. We all had a nice lunch and visit before everyone left for the park to get some exercise in .
Hubbie and I are both behind on yard work and it is supposed to start raining by Tuesday so this Sunday was one of those "ox in the ditch" Sundays. Hubbie mulched the leaves on the lawn and I cleaned out the 2 chicken tractors I moved the next batch of roosters from. I wonder how long the lawn will be leaf free ?????

This past week we had above normal temps as well as today. Then Tuesday the rain starts and the temps drop. Sure was nice with the warmer temps. When I mulched my yard last time , it stayed leaf free for about a day. Then I got lucky and we had hurricane like winds come thru and all the leaves blew off the trees and out of my yard. Yay!!!!
