A cloudy misty morning greeted us today as we welcomed IR and CA today. I can't believe that these pretty red burning bush leaves are still hanging on this year.
I got chores done and then we all had breakfast. We played in the playroom for a while until it was time to make an 11:00 cake delivery and pick up our Aldi grocery order. We took a long way around to pick up lunches so CA could get a good nap. IR helped get all the groceries inside, she is getting to that helping stage. CA woke up and we all had lunch together and both girls ate good today. After we ate they went out on the front porch and had a popsicle before it started sprinkling rain and blowing in on them so they had to come inside. These girls are fun to watch now as their own personalities keep emerging and the differences in their likes and dislikes becomes more noticeable .
Daughter went by her dermatologist today and had a stitch removed from they biopsied and found out it is basil cell cancer so she is being referred to a surgeon in Asheville to remove it. After she left with the girls hubbie and I got evening chores done. I emptied .015" of rain from the gauge from the light showery rain of the day. The harder rains is expected tonight as tropical storm Eta tries to make up it's mind where it is going.
Our area is going to get drenched with rains anywhere from 2-3 to 5-7 inches of rain depending on which weatherman we believe. The local guy that usually gets our forecast closest says 3.0 inches for us so I guess we will wait and see what happens either way that is a lot of rain on our already saturated ground. This unusually warm November we are having is contributing to our record year of storms I'm sure.As another storm was named today, but thankfully that one is heading away from the US, it makes 2020 a record breaking year for number of tropical storms in the Atlantic and there is the probability of another one in the gulf .

I spent the evening working on paperwork and paying bills before getting an early bedtime on a nice relaxing rainy evening.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night
