STORMY SATURDAY EVENING

Woke to clouds and expected rain today. I got chores done and then had a leisurely breakfast before making a cake delivery for daughter.  There is really nothing calling for my attention today so I put away some laundry and then just picked up a few odd things to do before the storms started rolling in this afternoon. We were fortunate not to be under a tornado warning today but they passed close to us and one even touched down just south of our area but we got 1.25 inches of rain in a short time with some gusty wind. 

I had to do evening chores in a pouring rain but thankfully there was no thunder or lightening with it.      After I got inside in just a little while the rain slacked off and the sky began to clear as the storms passed to the east of us.

Thankfully there was no rain that reached the coast where daughter's family is and the girls had another fun day at the beach.

Thankful for the blessings of this day and safety from the storms also praying for the folks who had damage from the storms.
