ANOTHER RAINY THURSDAY MARKET DAY

Market mornings are always a little different in our morning schedule but we all manage to go with the flow to get things all done and get loaded for market and headed out.
A thunder storm with pouring rain made this morning a little more challenging but thankfully the rain slacked some by the time it was time for us leave.
RL and IR are going to school this morning. IR is very excited today because her class has their Valentine party today.
It is so nice to for both the girls to go running into their classrooms with smiles on their faces.
I met hubbie and CA at market. The rain is light but still falling and all the creeks were once again for the second week in a row were spilling out of their banks.
Hopefully the forecast is correct and the rain will pass through our area by about mid morning.
There were absolutely no customers in market until almost lunch time.
CA was decked out in a Valentine top to match all my red decorations.

I went to pick up IR while hubbie and CA watched the table and he sold several things and all the eggs while I was gone.
IR was all smiles when I picked her up and couldn't stop talking about all the Valentines and candy in her bag.

About 1:00 market became a ghost town once again and we felt very fortunate to have made $43 so we packed up and left. Hubbie took IR and CA with him to make one stop at the dump /recycle center and I had stops to make at the bank, the PO and Walgreens.
I got home shortly after he did and found both girls napping.
We unloaded the Honda and got things put away then we had a late lunch .
We sat down to rest and watch the girls until they woke up just before it was time for him to go pick g-son up from school.
I stayed and played with the girls while he was gone.
Daughter is going to a senior night basketball dinner after school today so she will be late picking the girls up and IR was having a hard time waiting for her to get here to show her all her Valentines.
She was very happy to see her when she came in.
She was going home and then taking the girls to their first high school basketball game.
After evening chores hubbie and I rested for the evening fighting off our head colds.
I dumped another 1.4 inches of rain from the gauge tonight and it looks like we are going back to winter this weekend as the temperature roller coaster takes another dive.
The remnants of the creek in our pastures overflowing it's banks this morning while we were gone are evident in the pasture this evening.
The clouds lifted just in time for a colorful sunset on this Valentine's eve.
The evening was a really nice mild one and RL enjoyed swinging in her yard. The green grass is evidence of the very mild winter we're having so far.

Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night
