SNOWY MARKET DAY

This is what we woke to this morning instead of snow as predicted.

I got chores done and hubbie and I got ready and headed out to market.
Daughter and the girls were already there when we arrived. We got set up and waited for customers. we all took turns working the tables and playing with IR and CA.
We actually had a pretty good day in spite of the snow prediction. And at about noon IR was standing at the door looking at a flurry of small snowflakes starting to pepper down.
It wasn't sticking to anything and it was pretty to watch.
As the flakes got larger and started sticking to the grass and cars daughter and the girls left and headed home.
Hubbie left shortly after her going to make a stop at Walmart on his way home.
The snow got heavier and the flakes got larger and we decided since there wasn't any customers and for the safety of everyone that we would close 30 minutes early at 1:30.
It was pretty close to blizzard conditions as  I drove home.

Thankfully DOT trucks were already treating the bridges and the roadways were mostly just wet and I made it home safey. Hubbie came in right behind me and we got things un loaded. It is a pretty snow as I watched the naked Azalea bushes grow "snow flowers" once again.
The poor blooming daffodils got a snowy covering for the second time.

Once again things are covered in a blanket of white although this time the blanket wasn't as think as before and didn't last as long .

And this view that was less than 48 hours ago all covered in rushing flood waters is covered with a calming blanket of white snow this afternoon.
I took advantage of the cold snowy day to catch up on my rest .
After chores hubbie and I watched the UNC / Duke basketball game that Duke won by 2 point in OT.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and praying for folks that have to be out on the roads tonight in the icy conditions.
God Bless and Good Night
