DRYING OUT DAY

Had a late start to the morning as all the grandkids came around 8am today. There is a 2-hour delay for schools and it is a good thing as many roads are still flooded this morning.

I got chores done and had breakfast with the kids. While hubbie took g-son to school I fed CA her bottle.
When he got back it was time to take RL to her pre-school since it goes on the same schedule as the public schools and was starting at 10am also.
We all went to take her and then since she was only going to be there for a couple hours we went to the Amazon returns store to see what new things they had. Of course IR found a Barbie doll and car she wanted . She also found RL a "sky" stuffed animal since RL loves this character.
IR is quite the character herself and had some fun with this Donald Duck mask.

We picked RL up at noon and came home for lunch. Then the girls played the afternoon away.
Today is certainly different than yesterday as it is windy and cold with the high only around 40 degrees. It is 22 degrees cooler than yesterday.
And now the weather folks are predicting snow for us tomorrow. Don't know if it will stick to the ground or not but with these overnight temps if it starts early enough in the morning.

While hubbie picked up g-son I stayed with the girls and held a sleeping CA. Thankfully IR and RL didn't wake her up today.
After the kids all left hubbie and I got our chores done and then hubbie worked on cleaning off an old feeder we had in our upper pasture to get ready to tear it down and use the space to enlarge our blackberry patch.
I walked some this evening since it is a nice but cool evening.
Almost all the water is gone from our pastures this evening.
A sad news report tonight of the flooding at the Pickens Flea Market. This is our favorite flea market that we go to at least twice a year. Hopefully they will get it back open soon.

We spent a restful evening.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night
