FEBRUARY 1980,1990,2000, 2010 DECADE PICS

February was busy with taxes and other things to do so I actually forgot all about getting out the decade pics. I just got them all out and this post will contain all of the years starting with a very busy 1980 February when we spent a delayed honeymoon in Daytona Beach, Florida with a trip to the Daytona 500 Nascar race and a trip to Marineland. I remember it was so cold that year we had to go buy coats to wear to the race.

We also attended a basketball game at Clemson and had a pretty big snowfall with some sledding fun with my oldest brother that month.

Moving on the February 1990 which wasn't near as much fun as the 1980 February as all three kids had chicken pox that month with daughter getting the worst case with so many pox all over her little body.

Thankfully #2 son recovered in time to receive his " Terrific Kid" award.

Fast forward 10 more years to 2000 and both daughter and #2 son were finishing their basketball seasons.

#1 son was getting ready to graduate high school and had a job paying for his new truck.

10 years surely makes a big difference and we entered the grandparent part of our lives during this next decade and in February 2010 our lives were enriched with a grandson. Also that year we had a snowy and icy winter month.

Wow how things have changed so much once again in a 10 year decade when we fast forward to today !!!!!

Thankful for the fun times in the past and for the blessings of the Lord throughout all these years.
