BUSY SATURDAY

Another 20 degree morning with thick ice on all the water pans this morning as I got chores done.
We made it to market a little early this morning and daughter and the girls came in right behind.
We got set up and alternated taking care of the girls and watching our table.  Business was slow as expected but we are thankful for all we did sell.
Son-in-love came in and stayed awhile then he and daughter went to Hot Dog World to pick up lunch and then home for the afternoon.
#1 son went to Urgent Care this morning with stomach pain that has been bothering him since last week end and they scheduled him for  an ultrasound at 6:00 tonight since he needs to not have eaten anything for 6 hours before the test.
Hubbie left market to get home so he would be home if RL and g-son needed to stay with him this afternoon if something happened and son needed to go back to the hospital earlier.
I came home at closing time and made a stop at Ingles for supplies for a broccoli casserole for lunch tomorrow.
I came home and hubbie helped me get unloaded.   Daughter called and said one of our neighbors found her brother dead this morning after he had spent the last couple nights in the hospital after being admitted Tuesday night with chest pains. They didn't find anything wrong with his heart and sent him home yesterday morning from the hospital. He got home at 10:00 yesterday morning and died between 5:00-9:00 last night of a massive heart attack. Less than 12 hours after his heart was declared healthy????
This neighbor is the one who sold daughter some land to build her house on and was my childhood friend all the way through school.
Daughter called Ingles to see if they would make us a cold cut tray and they worked with us and within an hour hubbie and I picked up a very nice cold cut tray and also bought vegetable and fruit trays to go along with a couple loaves of daughter's sour dough breads and a caramel cake.
Hubbie and I finished chores at Aa's and her at home and then headed over to daughters.
#1 son and d-in-love had dropped RL and g-son off over there on their way to Mission Hospital for the ultrasound.
Daughter and I took all the food over to Rita's house and had a nice visit. Rita was pretty upset but seemed to calm down as we talked.
We went back to daughters and then brought g-son and RL home with us to have our supper.
The news from the hospital was that son's gall bladder and all his other organs on the ultrasound looked fine and all his bloodwork was normal . That was good news to hear but now there is still a puzzle of what is causing son's pain.
They came home and picked up g-son and RL and hubbie and I rested the remainder of the evening.
Since I don't have any pics today with all the busy activities these are some birds in the snow on last Thursday.

Thankful for the blessings of this day and praying for Rita and her family as they go through the loss of her brother, Johnny.
God Bless and Good Night
