EVENING BY THE FIRE

Up an extra hour early this morning to get to the farmer's market before it gets too hot.  We got chores done and I grabbed a cup of coffee and a bar before daughter got here to pick us up. #1 son's family was going too and followed us there. I was actually surprised that the market wasn't crowded busy on this beautiful before holiday Saturday.  We shopped and I found some fresh beets, radishes, peaches and strawberries.  Everyone found something and the girls had fun in an egg race game that was going on for kid's entertainment.

We headed home and after daughter dropped us off we had lunch then headed up to the shed to tackle another clean out and organize project. One shed bay has become a catch all for a lot of different things and it used to have all my animal cages in it so they are buried underneath all the other things that have landed there. We worked all afternoon but we got everything out and went through it , relocated many things and filled 2 large trash bags full of clutter that needed to be thrown away.  We were dirty and tired by the time we finished and got things put back in there and organized so we can find things when we need them.   We took a short break before chore time and then after chores we decided to build a fire and spend a quiet evening sitting by it.  Not many July nights do you need a blanket and jacket to sit outside by a fire but with this crazy weather this year that was what was needed by me in the upper 50's temps tonight.

It was an interesting evening to watch traffic and just relax by the fire.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night
